University Recruiting Brings International Success
Business Need
The world's most comprehensive and broadly based manufacturer of health care products required assistance in scheduling on-campus recruiting events for their Global University Recruiting department. The recruitment effort includes over 100 schools in the U.S., Latin America, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe. The company needed to improve their scheduled participation rate at these schools for national diversity conferences, career fairs, presentations, interviews and special events.
Our Strategy
Our major responsibility is to plan and manage the on-campus events which include scheduling and confirming dates, managing deadlines, arranging catering and AV as well as manage product shipments for on campus giveaways. The RightThing is tracking all activity in order to provide metrics back to the company in order to help them manage expenses, allocate resources and strategically plan for future years.
We have also developed a password protected website for all on-campus attendees to access while they are on the road throughout the U.S. and abroad. This serves as a one-stop tool for them to pick up interview schedules, presentation details, driving and campus parking directions and recommended accommodations in the area. Access to recruitment tools such as interview guides can also be downloaded from the site.
The RightThing solution provides a relationship manager to liaise between the company’s university relations representative and the career service contacts at the schools. The RightThing team works strategically with the company to map out all on-campus activities and coordinate logistics that allows the university relations teams to spend more time building relationships with the schools.
