Leading recruitment process outsourcing provider The RightThing, has been named one of the 50 Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America for the third consecutive year. The list was announced on June 23 before an audience of more than 15,000 at the Society for Human Resource Management's (SHRM) 60th Annual Conference & Exposition in Chicago.

Since inception in 2003, The RightThing’s founder and CEO Terry Terhark has proclaimed the company's success lies with its employees embracing the motto, “If you take care of your employees, they will take care of everything else.” With employee growth up over 100% since 2007, The RightThing’s employment stands at over 500 today.

“It is such a privilege and honor to be recognized three years in a row for this prestigious award,” said Terhark.  “Our employees make us the company we are today and I’m extremely proud that we are able to provide a great working environment for them to thrive.”

The annual list, now in its fifth year, ranks the top 25 small and top 25 medium-sized companies in America that use smart people management strategies to develop successful organizations with highly productive and satisfied workforces. The organizations, ranging in size from 50 to 999 employees, were announced by SHRM and selected and ranked by the Great Place to Work® Institute (GPTW).

Great Place to Work Institute co-founder, Robert Levering, notes, "These companies stand out because their employees find them to be places where they can trust the management, take pride in their work and have fun. Other companies have much to learn about how to be productive and do right by their people."

With a high level of dedication given to The RightThing by its employees, the company in turn, rewards their hard work with above average wages, profit sharing, full family insurance for only $10 a month and much more.  In addition, The RightThing participates in a number of philanthropic programs locally as well as nationally including coming together to raise over $6,000 for employees who lost their homes to severe flooding last summer.

Stories about the winning organizations will appear in the July issue of HR Magazine, the Society's flagship publication. Winners will also be listed on the GPTW web site at http://www.greatplacetowork.com.
