The RightThing Names Michael Gruber Chief Client Officer

The RightThing, a leading end-to-end recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) provider, announced today the promotion of Michael Gruber to chief client officer. Previously, Michael served as the chief recruitment officer.

As a senior staff member at The RightThing since 2003, Michael has played a key role in providing strategic oversight in developing methodology, technology, tools, training and metrics for effective sourcing and recruiting. By helping to keep The RightThing at the forefront of RPO innovations, Michael ensured The RightThing’s clients saw the best candidates for their needs in the most efficient manner. With more than 10 years in the RPO industry, he has served in a variety of roles including director of onsite programs and strategic account manager before being promoted to chief recruitment officer.

In Michael’s new role, he will have full responsibility for client relationships. He will be accountable for ensuring client satisfaction, maintaining consistency, sharing best practices and making sure all contract obligations are exceeded.  Additionally, Michael will continue to drive performance standards in all aspects of client service.

Prior to 2003, Michael worked for two RPO companies that were predecessors to The RightThing— Selective Staffing, Inc. and Aon Consulting. Since 1997, Michael has collaborated with a wide range of industry giants to reduce their hiring cycle times and lower costs for both exempt and non-exempt employees. Clients that have had short and long-term needs fulfilled by Michael include Abbott Labs, DaimlerChrysler, General Electric, Kellogg, Merck, Owens Corning, Prudential, Siemens, U.S. Steel and Wal-Mart.

Michael holds a Masters degree in Human Resources from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland.
