The RightThing to Raise Money for Breast Cancer Research at SHRM 2008 Annual Conference

Joining the battle against breast cancer, The RightThing, Inc. the leader in recruitment training, technology and outsourcing, revealed today a unique fundraising initiative at the 60th Annual SHRM Conference and Exposition, held June 22-25 in Chicago, IL. For every person that comes to their booth, The RightThing will be donating $5 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®.

“As the leading RPO company, we want to do something very new and innovative this year at SHRM that not only showcases our successful business but also our depth as a company when it comes to social responsibility,” said Jamie Minier, President of The RightThing. “We are a company that leads by example in all areas, not just business.”

As many as 200,000 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. Awareness and research are key components in the battle against the second leading cause of cancer death in woman.

As a major exhibitor of the conference, The RightThing will carry the breast cancer theme throughout the show, sponsoring lunch on Monday with customized lunch boxes sporting pink ribbons and giving away pink baseball caps, t-shirts and rubber wrist bands with the logo “Together, we’re doing The RightThing.” Booth visitors will also be entered into a drawing to win one of three 2008 Vespa LX’s.
